Chris Rothey
CEO

As Chief Executive Officer of Radiate Media, Chris brings strategic business, product and technology development experience to the role. Preceding Radiate Media, Chris acted as VP of Advertising at NAVTEQ and was responsible for the strategic expansion of services and interactive content solutions for GPS navigation, web, mobile, voice, digital and broadcast media.
Chris also served as COO for NAVTEQ’s Traffic.com, where he led efforts to launch new products and develop revenue models for ad-based traffic media solutions and syndicated interactive consumer content. Chris served for five years in the United States Navy as a submarine officer. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a B.S. in Finance from the Wharton School.
Ivan Shulman
CRO/EVP

As Radiate Media’s EVP of sales and CRO, Ivan brings with him more than 25 years of experience and a sterling reputation in the advertising and broadcast industries. Prior to Radiate, Ivan spent five years as President of The Canadian Traffic Network, where he directed a seven-fold growth in revenue while growing an affiliate base from 35 to 91 stations. Before joining CTN, Ivan founded The Sports House in Houston, Texas, and spent 15 years at Metro Networks/Westwood One. In his time there, Ivan rose through the ranks from on-air personality and sales representative to ultimately become Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, running a sales force of 267 that generated over 250 million dollars in sales. Ivan received a B.A. in Advertising from the University of Alabama.
Troy Giles
CFO

Troy Giles has been with Matchbin and Radiate Media since October 2009, and brings more than 15 years of finance and management experience. Prior to joining Radiate Media, Troy held senior finance positions at Boart Longyear and Tektronix. During this time, he directed finance for large global divisions of those companies and worked with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Investor Relations and Purchasing. Troy has a B.A. in Japanese and an M.B.A. in Finance from Brigham Young University as well as an accounting certificate from Linfield College.
Corey Ercanbrack
CTO

As Chief Technology Officer, Corey brings 19 years of experience in software engineering and leadership. Prior to joining Radiate Media, Corey was Vice President of Global Engineering for LANDesk Software, where his team delivered award-winning system, security and service management solutions. As the senior director of engineering for the LANDesk® Management Suite product, Corey established a worldwide team and successfully implemented agile development based on Extreme Programming.
Corey also spent nine years at Intel, where he held various engineering positions, including Director of Validation for software products and services and Director of System Integration and Validation for internet management and appliance. Corey holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Weber State University.
Kurt Gentry
VP, Digital Sales

Kurt Gentry is a 27 year veteran in the broadcast industry, Throughout his career he has demonstrated a commitment to innovative digital strategies. He has owned and operated Television and Radio stations in the west. His broadcast experience includes nearly 20 years in management, 12 years in General or Station Management, and 8 years in Sales Management for Bonneville International, Venture Technologies, Springfield Communications and Summit Media. Before joining Radiate Media he owned and cofounded Summit American and Summit Media Inc where he owned and operated stations.
Kurt holds a B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University. He has been a member of numerous industry organizations including the TVB Sales Advisory Board.
Brett Medellin
VP, Broadcast Sales

Brett joined Radiate Media as VP of Broadcast Sales in 2011 with the acquisition of NAVTEQ’s Traffic.com. For more than ten years, Brett served as Director of Television Sales for Traffic.com. He also spent four years as General Manager of Sales for FOX TV, where he managed national sales for 22 FOX-owned and operated television stations. Brett also managed advertising and sponsorship sales for FOX Sports Net Southwest and held sales and management positions at New World Communications, Petry Television and Seltel Television. Brett graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Journalism Advertising and currently holds a position on the Radio Advertising Bureau Board.
Gary Lee
VP, Broadcast Affiliations

Gary is a 38-year veteran and pioneer of the broadcast traffic industry, having covered traffic and transportation for WBBM/CBS Radio Chicago before founding Lee Communications Traffic Network. Before joining Radiate, Gary was EVP and a partner of Shadow Traffic Network. Gary served as VP of Development for Metro Networks as well, heading US acquisitions and international expansion into Australia.
Gary has also held key leadership positions at AMFM Radio, Clear Channel Premier Traffic, and NAVTEQ’s Traffic.com. At Radiate, Gary has focused on affiliate relationships and media partnerships with quality content providers, including the Associated Press and The Weather Channel. His exploration of RDS and HD opportunities led directly to the formation of the Broadcast Traffic Consortium to offer ad-supported content on mobile devices.
David Raminick
VP, Business Dev.

As Vice President of Business Development, David brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and finance experience. Prior to joining Radiate Media, David had an extensive automotive tenure in the Volkswagen of America organization holding key management roles for Audi, Volkswagen Credit/Audi Financial Services and the Volkswagen brand. While at VW he created and implemented a highly successful turnaround strategy for an underperforming Sales District; developed marketing/incentive programs resulting in previously unattained growth for the Audi Brand; and developed and managed $0.5B budget for Audi Brand. Before joining Volkswagen, David held senior financial roles at Market Strategies, Inc. and Frontier Communications. David holds a B.A. in Finance with Honor from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University.

Julian Castelli - Chairman
Julian is a veteran online media executive who joined Radiate Media’s board in August 2008. In addition to currently chairing the board of Radiate, he is also CEO of VacationRoost Inc, a leading online marketplace for vacation rental properties. Before founding VacationRoost, Julian served as CFO of Primedia, a $300 million internet media company that owns and operates brands like Apartmentguide.com, Newhomeguide.com, Autoguide.com and Rentals.com. While at Primedia, Julian also served as President of the Autoguide.com and was responsible for the launch and development of Rentals.com. Previously, Julian served as CFO of PageNet, a $1 billion public telecom company. Julian began his career as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs in 1990, later serving as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company. He has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Amherst College.
Wayne Cantwell - Director
Wayne joined Radiate Media’s board of directors in August 2009. He is currently a partner at Crescendo Ventures, which he joined in early 2003. Before joining Crescendo, Wayne served as President and CEO of Soisic SA, a French startup in semiconductor intellectual property. Prior to Soisic, Wayne served as President and CEO of inSilicon Corporation, where he led the company through an IPO and several acquisitions. Before inSilicon, Wayne oversaw worldwide sales and field operations at Phoenix Technologies, where he was responsible for sales and development teams in North America, Europe and Asia. Wayne has extensive international experience, having run operations in Japan, Taiwan, Korea, France and England. Prior to his role with Phoenix, he held various sales and engineering positions with Intel and NEC. Wayne has been involved in more than 20 early-stage companies in board of director and advisory board roles over the past 25 years.
Ben Levin - Director
Ben joined the Radiate Media board in 2011. He is also a founder and partner at Level Equity. Level Equity provides capital to growing technology businesses, and recently closed its debut $130 million fund. Ben has invested in more than 20 technology businesses and focuses on media, internet and software. Prior to founding Level Equity, Ben was a managing director at Insight Venture Partners. He is a director of several privately held technology businesses as well as the nonprofit Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners, which provides financial services to low-income working families to help avoid predatory lending. Ben is a graduate of Harvard College.
Scott Petty - Director
Scott joined the Radiate Media board in 2010. He is a founding managing director of vSpring Capital, where he lead vSpring’s investment in Matchbin. Prior to vSpring, Scott was COO and a Board Director of Zuka Juice, a retail organization selling nutritional products. Under Scott’s leadership, Zuka Juice grew from a single store to 96 retail units and more than 400 employees, when it was acquired by Jamba Juice, a venture-backed competitor. Before Zuka, Scott worked as a consultant with Bain & Company for seven years, re-engineering companies’ strategies. Scott serves on the Board of Directors of the Lassonde New Venture Development Center at the University of Utah. He also serves on the National Directors Council at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. Scott received a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
